Legends and Lore

This is our Story...

The skies fell black, drowning in the darkness; thunder reigned across the lands, shattering mother earth piece by piece. What once was home for so many now houses nothing but death and destruction. In what became to be known as the dead lands, chaos rang supreme and evil was the law of the land. The flame of the Phoenix was dying, extinguished by the darkness and suffering that had come to inhabit the land. With the last of its might the majestic Phoenix possesses the Lady Robyn to speak these prophetic words…

"The land you use to call home will no longer be inhabitable by children of the flame. As elders, you must each travel as far as your mount or feet will take you, and take refuge, for this battle is lost but the war is far from over. Salvage what you can for you will be reunited in the new lands and start anew. Each of you will find yourself drawn to a calling, for you eight are the last of your kind. For the sake of courage, love, and truth, may the spirit of the Phoenix guide you in your journeys…but beware that it is this time that the children of the flame are most vulnerable to the forces of evil and you, yourselves will not be immune to such temptations. You must fight the urges and carry on what you know to be good and true.Stay strong my friends, you have served me well, fear not that I will no longer be with thee, as tomorrow grows near, your new purpose will find each of you. And together once more shall I arise from the ashes of this land, through the teachings in the new, our ways shall never truly perish."

The Phoenix's final cry parts Lady Robyn's lips and she collapses in a heap on the center dias. The elders rush to her aide with a new prophecy weighing heavily on their hearts and filling their minds. To each now fell a responsibility to travel and discover their calling, their virtue. For only when they each had completed their quest could they again unite and make the phoenix whole once more.
